Anya answers from what's in your child's Vest: your Pocket Entries, Thoughts and Moments, Key Events and supported text-based documents. Ask the way you'd ask someone who knows your child well.
Ask a question
In the left menu, click New Conversation.
Type your question where it says "Type your question...", then press Enter or click the send arrow.
The paperclip on the left of the box adds a file to your Vest. See How do I tell Anya about my child?
Try something you've already added, like "What helps Eric settle at night?" or "What should a new doctor know about his medications?" Anya may mention where something came from, such as "According to his Individual Support Plan."
Ask for a brief
A brief is a summary written for a particular person or moment: a new respite worker's first day, a planning meeting, a weekend with his grandparents.
Ask for it in plain words, and say who it's for:
"Create a brief about Eric for a new respite worker."
Anya writes the brief right in the conversation, drawn from what's in the Vest: what matters most, how he communicates, what helps when plans change, and what he needs from the person reading it.
If it isn't quite right, just say so in the same conversation: "Make it shorter," "Write it for his grandmother instead," or "Only the part about mealtimes."
Keep a brief or hand it off
Every conversation is saved under Conversations, so you can come back to a brief anytime. Search by topic, or use From and To to find it by date.
To give a brief to someone, select its text, copy it, and paste it into an email or a document.
Anya can use earlier messages when you continue the same conversation. It doesn’t automatically search your other saved conversations or add what you say to the Vest. To keep something available beyond that conversation, add it as a Pocket Entry, Thought or Moment.
Still stuck? Write to us at [email protected] and tell us what happened. A person reads every message.
